Weekly Physical Update: June 24
Three great vinyl from three great artists make up this week's Physical Update. A reminder as always to check our Release Archive for a complete and ever-growing list of the physicals throughout the Vaporwave scene.
First up, My Pet Flamingo will be putting out 2 vinyl variants of Zer0 れい's 'Breathe' this Friday on their Bandcamp. The album falls somewhere in between ambient, midi, and hip-hop inspired Vaporwave and is quite the unique listen. You can grab a copy of this one Friday at 5pm UK time on either transparent or blue/black marble vinyl.

Next, 2 great albums from from "My Sister's Fugazi Shirt" catalogue will find their way onto wax Friday as well. First is a repress of the 2020 album "God's in his Heaven, All's Right With The World" onto purple/green split vinyl. Following that, a brand new first pressing of the artist's most recent album and a sequel to the aforementioned one, 'Man Fears the Darkness, and So He Scrapes Away at the Edges of It With Fire.' This one will be pressed onto a dark red/purple split vinyl and looks to match the colors on the album art well. Both of these will be available at an edition of 200 on the artist's Bandcamp Friday at 10am ET.

Last but not least, We'd like to feature a Qrates campaign starting up later today. 'Floristic Regions Vol 2' is a great collection of Mallsoft inspired Vaporwave that I found to be a quite refreshing listen. After 4 cassette editions, the artist Floristic Regions and label Occasionally Tapes have decided to open up a Qrates campaign to potentially get the album onto the vinyl format. If it reaches its goal, you'll receive the album on 3 way sky blue, pink and mint vinyl along with obi strip and poly lined inner sleeves. The vinyl pressing will also feature a few exclusive bonus tracks, as the artist has confirmed 2 and possible more. You can give the album a listen at Occasionally Tapes' Bandcamp and if you're interested in backing the project, it will go live at this Qrates link later today at 8pm ET.
