Weekly Physical Update - March 21st

Heading into another week means another Weekly Physical Update here at Celadon Plaza. It's a light week, which is expected, as next week is a Bandcamp Friday and most artists and labels are saving their physicals for then. Expect a Bandcamp Friday special post Thursday, April 1st in lieu of next week's Sunday Physical Update, as most, if not all, of the releases next week will be on Friday the 2nd.
As for this week, there's only 1 release I want to feature in this update, so following that, I'll be listing a few physicals that are still in stock that you should consider grabbing.

On Friday, March 26th Philadelphia based label Virtua 94 will be releasing their newest Pokémon themed album, "Transmissions from a Broken Pokegear" on cassette. The album, featuring works by Toadofsky and Hallucinogenic Bulb, will be available for purchase on Virtua 94's Bandcamp after the albums debuts on their Twitch live stream at 8pm EST. As a Philly native, I had to take the opportunity to show some love to the Philly based label. The owner of the label is a fantastic human being and I've had the pleasure of picking up Toadofsky's past two Pokémon releases, "Ilex Visions" and "Mobile Systems GB," and am very impressed with the tapes and the extra goodies that they throw in. Be sure to grab the cassette this Friday!

This cassette reissue of Catsystem Corp's beautiful mallsoft album "Shopping at Helsinki" is still available for open pre order on Wave Racer Colelctive's Bandcamp page. This one will surely be sought after once sold out, so don't wait!
Elevator 厚底 / Ascending Rooms 上昇 - 事務室 Lift
This wonderful little double cassette release of elevator music inspired mallsoft by Kai Beckman (under the alias 事務室 Lift) is one of the finest products I've picked up over the past year. There's still 5 left on Tiger Blood Tapes, so if you were hesitant before, consider this your sign to press buy!
